Services.
INJURY PREVENTION PROGRAMS
Utilizing our team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Athletic Trainers, and Strength & Conditioning Coaches we are able to develop individualized injury prevention programs to fit the needs of your team and keep athletes playing at an elite level. Previous courses include: ACL Prevention, Arm Care Series, Dynamic Warm-Ups, Running Analysis and Functional Movement Screens (FMS).
AMERICAN RED CROSS TRAINING
Onsite or offsite training to best prepare you and your staff for emergency situations. Our athletic trainers are able to provide training for all American Red Cross certifications including but not limited to CPR, First Aid, AED, Anaphylaxis and Epinepherine Auto-Injector (EpiPen) training.
SINGLE EVENT COVERAGE
Our athletic trainers are available to provide onsite emergency care for any event. Their role will include emergency care, evaluating/ treating acute injuries and act as a liaison between medical professionals such as Paramedics and Physicians.
LONG TERM SPORTING COVERAGE
Allow us to tailor our athletic training coverage to your school/organizations specific needs ranging from seasonal to year long coverage. Services consist of practice/game coverage, direct access to an athletic trainer for evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, coach and parent/athlete educational meetings, priority access to our sports medicine team physician, and more.

Our Partnerships.
We are proud to provide athletic training coverage for local schools and community events. Our purpose is to ensure athletes are able to perform at their optimal level.
ECU Sports Medicine and Moore Orthopedics oversee our athletic trainers and provides a team physician for each entity. This allows our athletes to have priority access to not only physical therapy, when warranted, but also to ECU Sports Medicine when an athlete requires a physician referral.
We are also proud to provide coverage in partnership with the City of Greenville. Our athletic trainers provide a wide variety of coverage to events throughout Greenville from USA Rugby and Ultimate Frisbee to the Bo Run.
Within our partnerships, you can expect our athletic trainers to:
Hold a national certification and state licensure
Provide game coverage with availability for any immediate health concerns
Communicate with coaches, athletes, parents, and physicians when needed
Facilitate pre-participation physical exams (PPE)
Administer concussion vital sign (CVS) testing and provide concussion management services
Public education on injury prevention

Nick Davic
Director of Business Enhancement & Development
Nick, MS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, obtained his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Science inSports Management from Baylor University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Graston Technique M1 certified and an American Red Cross Instructor. He particularly enjoys working with football athletes, lower extremity injuries, and those in the military, firefighters and police officers. When he is not in the office, you may find Nick reading, working out, going to the beach or exploring the area with family.
Alexis Morrison Rieck
Athletic Training Manager
Alexis, MAT, LAT, ATC, CES, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Strength and Conditioning and a Masters of Athletic Training both from The University of Findlay in Ohio. She is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and particularly enjoys working with rugby players, dancers/performers and gymnasts. When Alexis is not in the office, you may find her hiking and kayaking with her husband and dog, Ghost, coaching girls rugby or playing rugby!
Zac Womack
LAT, ATC
Zac obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from East Carolina University. His previous experience includes serving as an athletic trainer in the New York Yankees organization for 7 years and serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at ECU for 10 years as well as Head Athletic Trainer for ECU Baseball for 15 years. He particularly enjoys working with overhead athletes at the professional, collegiate, and high school levels as well as recreational athletes. When Zac is not in the office, you may find him following his favorite sports teams (Carolina Panthers, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, and ECU Pirates), grilling or barbecuing, watching his daughter develop as a gymnast, working in his yard/gardening, or driving his 66′ Mustang!
Dasia Mitchell
LAT, ATC
Dasia obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a Minor in Psychology from East Carolina University. When she is not in the office, you may find her baking, doing yoga/pilates, or learning choreography from YouTube dance videos!
Anthony Pereira
LAT, ATC
Anthony obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from East Carolina University. He serves as the lead athletic trainer for our partnership school John Paul II Catholic High School. He particularly enjoys working with high school athletes, the overall athletic population and treating lower extremity injuries/limitations. When Anthony is not in the office, you may find him spending time with his friends and family, going to the beach or working on cars!
