Strength and Conditioning Coach

General Job Description
The Strength and Conditioning coach is responsible for delivering high-quality exercise instruction to personal training clients, group fitness classes, and/or strength and conditioning athletes. This role supports clients in becoming stronger, achieving their individual goals, and improving overall quality of life. Personal Trainers are expected to embody and promote the core values of Youngs Physical Therapy & Sports Performance (YPTSP) while contributing to the growth and success of the clinic.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Training & Program Design
- Design and deliver safe, effective, and pre-planned workout programs for individual clients and group fitness participants.
- Assess clients’ abilities, needs, and physical conditions to develop appropriate training programs, including modifications for limitations or injuries.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs as needed to maximize results.
- Instruct and motivate clients in both individual and group settings, ensuring proper technique, appropriate intensity, and injury prevention.
- Client Care & Collaboration
- Observe participants during training sessions and provide corrective feedback to improve performance and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with physical therapists and other providers to ensure continuity of care, particularly for clients transitioning from rehabilitation to wellness or performance programs.
- Facility & Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sports performance and training spaces.
- Actively live out and promote the mission, vision, and core values of Youngs Physical Therapy & Sports Performance.
- Marketing & Growth
- Promote the clinic and personal professional expertise through social media engagement and content creation.
- Contribute to the growth of the clinic by innovating and developing new classes, programs, or initiatives tailored to target populations.
- Work toward achieving personal performance goals as well as overall clinic goals.
