“Once my collegiate tender at ECU came to a close, I was given an opportunity to play in an all-star game, perform in the NFL Combine, and pursue my dream of playing in the NFL. Shortly after I signed my first contract, I had to have surgery on my hip to repair a torn labrum and shave down a cam deformity that had been causing discomfort. When asked about physical therapy, there was no doubt in my mind where I wanted to be. Now at the 6-month mark in my healing process, I have well surpassed my expectations for myself at this point in my recovery. Kevin’s All-Star staff has done an amazing job of challenging me, while giving me tremendous support, feedback and encouragement.

Throughout the time I’ve had the pleasure of working with Young’s PT and Sports Performance, their versatility and multitude of specialties have blown me away. I have seen them help a variety of people from child gymnast, college and professional athletes, to retired senior citizens just wanting to stay in good health and enjoy their quality of life. It’s clear that Young’s PT is a first class establishment, ran by great people. With their help, I know I’ll accomplish my goals.” – Davon Grayson, football, Chiefs

“I began my journey at Youngs Physical Therapy when I received the diagnosis of runner’s knee. I was feeling down by this, but as I worked with my therapist Eric, he helped me regain my confidence and to achieve my first marathon. I am looking forward to my adventures ahead and know that anything is possible for my running endeavors at Youngs Physical Therapy. It starts at the top, with Kevin and Jennifer Youngs, they are truly awesome.” -Elisha Paitsel, Marathon Runner

“Youngs has been a big part of my life over the last four years in many aspects. Through countless hours of physical therapy at Youngs, I gained a greater appreciation for the occupation. I had the opportunity to complete my senior internship here, and it was the best experience I could have asked for. It has really prepared me for my career as I start the DPT program at ECU. I can’t wait to see how many more lives this facility touches. As we say, together stronger. ” – Ashley Kendrot

“In the time that I’ve been here, I’ve seen young sports enthusiasts, college age athletes, middle age and seniors my age and older, and everyone I’ve seen has been treated with professionalism, respect, and the attitude that they matter.” – Carla Hart

“I love coming here because of the people and the atmosphere. They push me harder so that I can perform at a higher level on the court. I would recommend Youngs for anyone who needs therapy or conditioning because they are very well equipped to make you stronger physically and help you overcome injuries.” -Holly Gibson, Volleyball

“The reason I started coming to Youngs was because I tore my ACL. Youngs has helped me overcome so many obstacles and made me a better ball player today. Youngs is the best place to be and the people here treat you like family. Thank you Youngs PT, I don’t know what I’d do without you.” -Lexi Phillips, Softball

“Youngs’ holistic approach has made a huge difference in my flexibility, strength, endurance, and overall health. Their attention to detail of my needs and their ability to customize therapy and training has been a perfect fit for me.” -Christine Teaney

“I have been coming to Youngs for approximately a month and a half and this is the first time in over nine years that I am without pain.” – Wilma Steig, Dry Needling

“One thing I used to tell Kevin and Michael all the time is the way they make you think about movement and what you’re doing when you’re not in physical therapy. Not just helping you overcome whatever you are trying to overcome, but to think about your movements and patterns and what you’re doing everyday. Thinking about it and understanding the relationships between your muscles. If there is anyone with vestibular or vertigo issues I would highly recommend Michael. When you have vertigo, it’s debilitating, but he really knows what he is doing” – Marianna Walker, ECU Professor

“Kevin and Jennifer have created an environment at Youngs Physical Therapy that’s like a family. When you walk in the front door, you feel like the scene from “Cheers” where everybody knows your name and they call it out. Even the therapists that don’t work with you know who you are. The therapists themselves work together as a team, work collectively, to figure out the very best way they can help you achieve your goals. I can highly recommend them to anybody wanting to improve their health.” – Jule White
